SEMI-FINALS CONTEST GUIDELINES

• Participants must try their best to memorize their speech in time for the semi-finals.
• Cue cards will be allowed but direct reading of script is not permitted.
• Speech length must be from 4-5 minutes.
• Judges will judge the contestants based on the following:

                CONTENT (40%) – structure, suitability of topic, expression

                DELIVERY (40%) – pronunciation, fluency, emphasis

                STAGE PRESENCE (20%) – engaging the audience, speed and time management
