LIBRARY HOURS

Tue - Sat 9:00 - 16:00 (Lunch break 12:00 - 13:00)

The library is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and declared holidays of both Korea and the Philippines.


LIBRARY GUIDELINES

  • The library is open to the general public, no need for membership.

  • No food and drink allowed inside the library.

  • Keep conversations quiet and use headphones when listening to audio or video content. Respect the needs of others who may be studying or working in the library. 

  • Books taken from the shelf should be left on the book cart. Please do not shelve them back into the shelf.

  • Treat library materials with care to ensure they remain in good condition for others to use. Writing, highlighting, or damaging books, DVDs, and other items are strictly prohibited.

  • Respect copyright and fair use policy.

  • Kindly ask for assistance in using the library equipment such as VR, computers, and CD/DVD player.

  • Use the library locker. Take care of your belongings, KCC is not liable for any missing case.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw admission of guests who fail to comply with safety protocols and library guidelines.


LIBRARY SERVICES


Information Service - the librarian assists and responds to reference queries about the library’s collection regarding to Korea. The library also accepts any consultation related to Korea-Philippines information resources. Consultations can be done by telephone, email, or in-person.

Current Awareness Service - Library Connect (featured books), New Acquisition Alert


Library Donation - The library regularly sends copies of up-to-date materials to its library recipients in the Philippines.


Book Exhibit - The library participates to any Korea-related events to promote FREE Korea-related resources and its collection.


Photocopying Service - Library offers free photocopying of up to 3 books/day in the library for only a maximum of 20% of the book content. To avail of this service, seek assistance from the librarian.


Virtual Reality - Experience touring South Korea virtually using the VR device. To avail of this service, seek assistance from the librarian.


Computer Use - Use library computers for studying or research purposes, respecting time limits if applicable. To avail of this service, seek assistance from the librarian.

1. Researchers are strongly encouraged to reserve in advance before their visit.

3. Confirmation booking and reminders will be sent via email.

4. Photocopying of periodical articles/chapters from books may be allowed for personal use depending on the amount and substantiality of the portion copied. If you wish to avail free photocopy, please prepare a letter of request to photocopy and give it to the librarian once you arrive at the site.
