The Embassy of the Republic of Korea announces a change in the Selection Timeline for 2021 GKS-U.

Updated Selection Timeline (ONLY for Embassy Track Applicants)

<Mid-November> 
Announcement of 2nd Round Successful Candidates
- Study in Korea (www.studyinkorea.go.kr) < Scholarship < GKS Notice Board
- Notification for Embassy track applicants: late November

<~ early December> 

(2nd Round Successful Candidates)
Submit medical checkup results

<Early December>
3rd Round of Selection (ONLY for Embassy Track Applicants)
- University Admission
- Each university informs admission results to candidates
- Each university informs candidates‟ admission results to NIIED

<December 10>

(3rd Round Successful Candidates)
Notify their final university and major choice to NIIED

<Mid-December>
Announcement of 2021 GKS Undergraduate Degrees Scholars

Timeline has been changed to earlier dates in order to accommodate additional COVID-19 protocols as stated below:
1.Quarantine Period upon entering Korea
2.Visa Applications
3.Purchase of Air Tickets
4.Visa Issuance
