93rd Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Announcement

The 93rd Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) will be held on April 14, 2024 in Manila for 300 applicants per test level.

I. How to Apply

● Applicants should complete both Online Pre-registration and On-Site Registration.

1. Online Pre-registration through Google Form: January 15, 2024 ~ February 2, 2024

2. On-Site Registration: January 29, 2024 ~ February 2, 2024 (Mon-Fri 9:00 – 11:30 / 13:30 – 16:00)

*Online Pre-registration through Google Form is REQUIRED before proceeding to On-Site Registration. People who did not answer the google form at the On-Site Registration site will be asked to answer the Google Form before proceeding.

* Online Pre-Reservation Google Form link: TOPIK I (https://bit.ly/93rdTOPIKI), TOPIK II (https://bit.ly/93rdTOPIKII). Those who wish to take both exams should answer both google forms.

*Paper-Based Test(PBT) TOPIK 2024 will only be held ONCE in the Manila region.

● On-Site Registration Venue: 3F, Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines

*First 300 applicants per test level will be accepted to register

* No proxy on-site registration is allowed except for immediate family members with the government-issued documentary evidence.

3. Applicant who wish to request for Special Service for Disabled Applicant, must fill up and bring Application form of Special Services for disabled applicants attached to this announcement along with a medical certificate

*Special service is subject to approval of TOPIK Center, registration slip will be given to the applicant after the decision of the TOPIK Center.

● Application Fee: PHP 1,200 (TOPIK 1), PHP 1,400 (TOPIK 2)

● Refund Regulation

1. January 29, 2024 ~ February 9, 2024: 50% Refund

2. February 10 onwards: No Refund

● On-Site Registration Requirement

1. Completed application form with 2 Photos (3cmx4cm) of yours attached

2. Application Fee (CASH ONLY)

3. Original and a Photocopy of your Valid ID (ID must include your photo, full name, and the birth date)

*You may download the application form at KCC website. (https://phil.korean-culture.org/en)

*For minor applicants who do not have Valid ID may bring school ID with full name, birthdate, and photo. If this is not applicable, the applicant can fill up and bring Certificate of Identity Confirmation attached in this announcement.

● Announcement of 93rd TOPIK Result: May 30, 2024 (Thursday)

1. Announcement will be released on the official TOPIK website (www.topik.go.kr) after May 30, 2024.

2. Copy of the certificate can be printed for FREE at the official TOPIK website (www.topik.go.kr)

II. Testing Schedule

● Testing Date: April 14, 2024

● Testing Venue: University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City Campus (UP BGC)

● Testing Time:

III. Important Note

● All applicants must arrive at the testing classroom at least 30 minutes before the test.

● Requirements for the Test: Registration Slip, Original Copy of Valid ID, Correction tape, writing tool (pen/pencil)

*Valid ID must include your photo, full name, and the birth date.

*Applicants without an original copy of valid ID are NOT allowed to take the test.

*Minor applicants who registered with Certificate of Identity Confirmation should bring it on the testing day.

● Important Notes for the Test

1. Answer sheet for the listening/reading part must be filled with the two-sided pen given at the testing site. If not, your test will be invalidated.

2. You must fill the answer sheet in order of each part only. (E.G. Listening answer sheet can only be filled during the listening part)

3. All kinds of electronic gadgets such as cell phones must be turned off and submitted to the proctor before the test starts. Your test will be invalidated if the electronic gadgets are caught during the test.

4. Test will be automatically canceled if less than 10 applicants applied for each test difficulty (TOPIK Ⅰ, Ⅱ).

5. No additional registration is allowed after the registration period.

● Important Notes in case of Test Postponement (Cancellation)

1. 93rd TOPIK is subject to postpone due to unforeseen reasons with prior notice. In case of postponement, the applicants can choose to reschedule to the next test in the same year or get a 100% refund.

*PBT TOPIK 2024 will only be held ONCE in the Manila region.

2. The whole TOPIK test in 2024 may possibly be canceled due to unforeseen reasons, and the application fee will be 100% refunded to your bank account written in your pre-online reservation form. Substitution for next year’s test is not possible.

3. In the above case of test cancellation, the refund is only available for a maximum of 3 months from the date of the initial test cancellation announcement, and the not received(taken) application fee will not be refunded anymore after 3 months.
