The 83rd Test of Proficiency in Korean  will be held on 2022 July 10th for fully vaccinated 300 applicants in each test level (TOPIK Ⅰ, Ⅱ).

■ How to Apply

◦ Application Period: 2022 May 11th ∼ 2022 May 20th

  1. Pre-Online Reservation: 2022 May 11th ~ 2022 May 13th

  2. On-Site Registration: 2022 May 16th ~ 2022 May 20th (M-F 9:00 – 11:30 / 13:30 – 16:00)

   ※First 300 applicants who succeed in getting a slot from pre-online reservation will be assigned to register on-site.

   ※Pre-online reservation is strictly limited to one-time reservation per person per level, and you’ll be prohibited to take the test if a duplicate reservation is caught.

   ※ Private schedule of on-site Registration for the selected 300 applicants will be guided separately via email.

   ※Pre-Online Reservation link will be shared on KCC's official Facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/KoreanCulturalCenterPH) on May 11 at 9 AM.

◦ Result Announcement Date: 2022 AUG 18 (Thu)

 1. Announcement will be released on the official TOPIK website (www.topik.go.kr) after August 18, 2022

 2. Copies of score certificates can be printed for free at the official TOPIK website (www.topik.go.kr).
 

■ Testing Schedule

◦ Testing Date: 2022 July 10 (Sun)

■ Important Note

◦ All applicants must arrive at the testing classroom at least 30 minutes before the test

◦ Testing Requirement: Application (identification) Slip, Original copy of Valid ID, Government issued vaccination card, Correction tape, Writing instruments

   ※ Valid ID must include your photo, full name, and the birthdate

   ※ Applicants without an original copy of a valid ID are not allowed to take the test.

◦ Important Note on Testing

 1. Only fully vaccinated applicants can take the test.

 2. Applicants above normal body temperature range (36.5℃ to 37.5℃), with the Covid-19 like symptoms or positive for Covid-19 on the testing day, can’t take the test

 3. Covid-19 positive applicants on the testing day must submit the medical certificate ahead of time for a 100% refund of the application fee.

 4. Answer sheet for the listening/reading part must be filled with the two-sided pen given at the testing site. If not, your test will be invalidated.

 5. You must fill the answer sheet in order of each part only. (E.G. Listening answer sheet can only be filled during the listening part)

 6. All kinds of electronic gadgets such as cell phones must be turned off and submitted to the proctor before the test starts. Your test will be invalidated if the electronic gadgets are caught during the test.

 7. Test will be automatically canceled if less than 10 applicants applied for each test difficulty (TOPIK Ⅰ, Ⅱ).

 8. No additional registration is allowed after the registration period.

 9. Strictly prohibited to take tests aside from your designated testing venue.

◦ Important Note on Test Postponement(Cancellation) due to COVID-19 etc

 1. The 83rd TOPIK is subject to postpone due to unforeseen reasons (COVID-19 etc.) with prior notice. In case of postponement, the applicants can choose either substitution for the next test in 2022 or a 100% refund.

 2. The whole TOPIK test in 2022 can be canceled due to unforeseen reasons (COVID-19 etc.), and the application fee will be 100% refunded to your bank account written in your pre-online reservation form. Substitution for the next year’s test is not available.

 3. In the above case of test cancellation, the refund is only available for a maximum of 3 months from the date of the initial test cancellation announcement, and the not received(taken) application fee will not be refunded anymore after 3 months.
