Music coterie GOMOOL has explored Gagok songs, Pyungnyu, Gyeonggi Sori, and Seodo Sori based on various perspectives of musical grammar, non-mathematical musical materials, literature, aesthetics, politics and institutions, performing “staged documentary” in its unique styles.

A chilchae jangdan consists of seven measures, and the jing is played once for every measure so one chilchae jangdan includes seven playings of the jing. Focusing on the universal qualities inherent in chilchae jangdan, this work plays the jangdan, usually performed only with farmers music instruments, with various percussion and melodic instruments.
