
KCC to administer the 36th Test of Proficiency in Korean The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines will be administering the 36th Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) on October 12, in its office at Fort Bonifacio, Global City. TOPIK, a Korean language test both for foreigners and overseas Koreans studying Korean, is generally used as a measure of proficiency in the said language by those whose native language is not Korean. In most cases, the results are used for school, company applications, permanent residency in Korea or a Korean Visa.
The application period of the 36th TOPIK will run from July 14 to August 13, and all applicants must submit their complete application forms (with two 3cm x 4cm photos) in person. The application form, sample questions, and general information of TOPIK may be downloaded from the TOPIK official site (www.topik.go.kr) or from the KCC homepage (www.koreanculture.ph). REQUIREMENTS: Personally bring the following in the KCC
1. Completed Application Form
2. Two (2) 3cm x 4cm Photo
3. Photocopy of ID
4. Testing Fee: P500 cash
