Touring Exhibition by the National Folk Museum

The <Maedeup, Korean Knots> exhibition, jointly organized by
the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism(MCST), the National Folk Museum of Korea,
and the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines,
will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila(BGC).
This exhibition delves into the rich tradition of Korean knotting,
exploring the materials, techniques, and creative processed involved in the craft.
It offers a comprehensive overview of the gistory of Maedeup(traditional Korean knots),
from its foundational concepts to its contemporary applications in decorative design.
Inside the exhibition, visitiors can experience hands-on activities such as "Try on Hanbok" and
"Make Your Own Knot," as well as enjoy a variety of interactive experiences
including ASMR videos featuring knot makers and modern reinterpretations of knot decorations.
