The K-pop Groove: Everyone’s KPOP Manila Wraps Up with Resounding Success at the SM Megamall

The highly anticipated event "Everyone's KPOP: Manila" took place at SM Megamall over the weekend, captivating K-pop enthusiasts and newcomers alike with a day filled with electrifying performances, engaging activities, and memorable moments.

“For the past year, the Korean Cultural Center has continued to include and introduce a variety of cultural aspects through our events… But no matter the variety, we always return to something everyone loves and enjoys: K-pop”, Kim Myeongjin, the Director of the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines expressed.

The event kicked off with a vibrant morning program featuring booth activities and a mission card that allowed attendees to fully immerse themselves in the K-pop experience. Hosted by the Philippine K-pop Convention, the morning was packed with thrilling performances, K-variety show games, and numerous raffle prizes that kept the energy high and spirits lifted.

In the afternoon, the excitement soared as finalists of the K-pop Cover Dance Festival took to the stage, showcasing their talent and passion through powerful dance routines. After a fierce competition, "PARALX" emerged as this year's Grand Winner, earning the opportunity to represent Manila in the final round in Korea.

The event also welcomed performances from the rising P-pop group, KAIA, and the dance group from Korea, AUSPICIOUS.

The event not only celebrated K-pop culture but also provided a platform for both fans and non-fans to enjoy and explore the vibrant world of Korean pop music.
